ZooBalloo Throwback Challenge

Hi, everyone.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  I'm sharing my entry for My Creative Time's throwback challenge this week.  The challenge was to use Zooballoo in an original design.  I decided to make a shaker gift card tag (not sure if you can see the beads in the shaker part in the photo).  I used the monkey on page 94 of the handbook cut at 2 1/2".  I cut 2 layers one of which is glued directly to the monkey with Glossy Accents on the border of the tummy.  On the second layer I added a clear transparency sheet and cut to size.  After I allowed the Glossy Affects to dry I added some MS Microbeads in brownstone and then another layer of Glossy Accents to adhere the layer with the transparency to the monkey.  I cut the vine and layer from page 128 of the handbook at 1".  I inserted the vine throw the monkey tail to give the effect of swinging.  I used the largest circle from the Nestabilities standard circles to make the base.

New Arrival Throwback Challenge

I've had a little more time to play with my Cricut this week and wanted to participate in My Creative Time's throwback challenge.  This week we were to use the New Arrival cart in a baby theme.  I decided to use my Design Studio again and make a shaped card that could be used for a baby shower invitation and accommodate my You're Invite Stamp stamp.  I used the Baby Boy designer paper from the Nana's Nursery paper pack from DCWV along with some leftover scraps that matched.  I cut the cute frog from the cart as well at 2".

FireTruck

Hi everyone.  Hope you all enjoying your 4th celebrations.  One of the guys that works in our Division had his last day earlier this week.  His lifetime goal was to become certified and become a permanent full-time firefighter.  To help him celebrate I made this card for him, since he's kinda a kid at heart I felt that the Everyday Paper Dolls cart would ok to use.  I used my Design Studio to make a firetruck shaped card, I have to say I don't use this tool enough.  I used the Basic Face Paper Doll Assortment Pack for the face on the paper doll.  Thanks for stopping day

Paper Doll Dress Up Throwback Challenge

Hi everyone.  This is my submission for My Creative Time's Thursday Throwback Challenge.  I am super excited because the Challenge is featuring one of my favorite carts, Paper Doll Dress Up.  Plus it needs to be a 3-D or altered item and I so love to make bags, boxes and albums.  I used the Tags, Bags Boxes and More cart. to make the bag using the shopping bag cut with the fit to page feature with a 12x12 paper which cut at 5 3/4".  I used some SEI paper that I recently found at Micheal's called Nutmeg.  You may not be able to see in the picture but the paper is varnished.  I cut the doll at 4" so that she would stand taller than the bag and used a Peachy Keen Stamp from the Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment Pack.  I so love these stamps for the faces.  I feel it's what makes the dolls so super cute.    Thanks all for stopping by to look.

Stretch Your Imagination Throwback Challenge

This is my project for My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge to use the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cart. I created a snow globe card using a template that I found on Splitcoast Stampers here several months ago. The gingerbread man was cut at 2" and I used some prima flowers and ribbon from Michael's for embellishments. TFL.
